First thing that caught my eye in DC... There are flags everywhere!

Lots of Washington Monument shots to follow. As you go thru the pics, you will notice that the monument is two-tone. They ran out of money during construction, and when they went to complete it years later, that type of stone from the quarry had run out, so they used something similar, though slightly different in color!
